At the heart of Porter's advanced breathing circuit design is a unique double mask scavenging system - proven to be the most efficient in scavenging during a clinical study completed at VCU. The patented Porter Automatic Vacuum Switch (AVS) prevents nitrous oxide from being administered without scavenging, protecting personnel from unintended gas exposure.
